Garmin Nuvi 350 Map Update 2009

wanted to test out the city navigator north america NT 2009 update before buying

found torrent and followed the instructions. make sure you use unit id when using keygen. i used serial number by mistake.

it loads the new map as an update on the nuvi so once installed, rename it from gmapsupp.img to gmapprom.img. I did this as when you load other maps via mapsource, they are loaded as gmapsupp.img overwriting the 2009 map (unless you combine them whch makes for a large file). read somewhere the max maps/file is around 3500.

worked so will try it out then ask santa for a legit copy.

Convert DVD for PSP

Use DVD Decrypter to rip DVD to PC
Use Auto GK to convert to AVI (choose .ifo file)
USE PSP Video 9 to convert AVI to PSP

Aspect Ratio: 16:9
QScale: 20 (bug in program, label says bitrate, but when using AVC is is really qscale.)

Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Channels: Stereo
Volume: 225%

Into the HDTV pool

1996 32" Sony trinatron finally gave out so time for HDTV

Chose panasonic 1080 42" based on consumer reports and discussion with several sales people. bought at fry's based on price $999.00

Thanks to Craigslist for getting rid of the old TV. Did not want to lug 150 lbs down 15 stairs. Posted Free and was gone within 30 minutes.
